Welcome Foresters!
Important Reminders

The Gates Center for Leadership & Personal Growth, located in the Stuart Commons on Middle Campus, will have information about campus and the surrounding community this weekend: Saturday, August 23, from 8:00am - 5:00pm, and on Sunday, August 24, from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
The Lake Forest College Mail Services, located in the lower level of Stuart Commons, is open everyday from 10:00am - 4:00pm during New Student Orientation.  Be sure to stop in on Saturday to try your combination and to pick up important check-in materials.
Can't wait to check out "MyForester" or "Facebook?"  Have your personal computer networked to the College system from 9:00am - 9:00pm in the lobby of Nollen hall during New Student Orientation.
The Office of Residence Life is open on  Saturday, August 23, from 8:00am - 3:00pm, and on Sunday, August 24, from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
The Financial Aid Office is open on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00am - 3:00pm, and on Sunday, August 24, from 10:00am - 12 noon.
The Business Office is open on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00am - 3:00pm, and on Sunday, August 24, from 10:00am - 12 noon.
Follett Bookstore will be open on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00am - 5:00pm, and on Sunday, August 24, from 10:00am - 2:00pm.  Get a jump on your reading!  Pick up your books for classes and pick up your first Lake Forest College sweatshirt.
The Admissions Office is open on Saturday and Sunday of this week, from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The Department of Public Safety, located in the Stuart Commons, is open everyday from 9:00am - 5:00pm during New Student Orientation.  Wait until there is no line to get your photo taken for your student I.D.

Some students on our campuses today engage in a "hook-up" culture of random sexual encounters with other students, usually fueled by alcohol. But, just because some students are getting drunk and "hooking-up" doesn't make it right, or legal. When does a "hook-up" cross the line?

This program dispels common myths about alcohol and sex.

This practice is for students who depart for the Lake Forest Train Station for their Chicago Excursion at 9:24am or later.

Athletes leaving on the 9:24am train will pick up a bag lunch from Halas Hall.  These students will walk to the train station with Forester Guides to meet their classes.

Those athletes scheduled to depart at 8:24am will not attend this session, but will return to campus in time to participate in the 4:30pm practice.
