Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Holiday Program

From Tuesday, January 15, 2008, through Tuesday, January 22, 2008, the Office of Intercultural Relations, in collaboration with the Mohr Student Center Committee, will present the Martin Luther King, Jr. Walk in the Mohr Student Center foyer.  This self-paced exhibit will provide a variety of opportunities to learn about Dr. King’s life and legacy.  Participants can view transcripts of Dr. King’s speeches that helped fuel his activism, hear original recordings of his speeches, and learn pertinent biographical information about Dr. King’s life and enduring legacy.  The exhibit will also contain information about non-violent action as a vehicle for social change.

Our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Program will be on January 21, 2008, in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel from 4:30 till 5:30 pm.  The program will include a guest speaker and feature The Voices of Inner Peace Gospel Choir from Waukegan, IL.

The exhibit and holiday program are both open to the public and free of charge.
