Office of Intercultural Relations
Intercultural Relations works to promote intercultural dialogue, understanding, and respect among the many cultural identities represented within our diverse community. The office also works to insure a successful learning experience for our international and first-generation students as well as students from traditionally underrepresented groups including, but not limited to students of color.
The Intercultural Relations Office acts as a student advocate for international students and students of color regarding classroom, conduct, and residence life issues; collaborates with student organizations to program annual intercultural events; and advises and assists our intercultural and international students and their organizations.

Residence Life (RAs)
As an integral part of Lake Forest College, the Office of Residence Life fosters a living and learning community that challenges and supports our residents in their academic, personal, and social development. We promote a safe, secure, and purposeful environment that is conducive to academic excellence; provide opportunities for residents to become engaged in their communities; facilitate opportunities for the development of relationships among faculty, staff, and residents; and balance individual wants and needs with those of the residential community.

Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides individual counseling services to Lake Forest College students. All counseling sessions are kept strictly confidential. There is no fee for services. The Counseling Center leads several support groups during the academic year that are based on students' interests and needs. Previous on-going groups have focused on GLBTQ issues, Women's/Men's issues, Healthy Eating, Relationships, etc. Workshops in the residence halls have included presentation on insomnia, eating disorders, communication, etc.
The Counseling Center also provides classroom accommodations to students with learning disabilities/Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Psychological Disabilities.

Health Services
Located in the Sports Center on South Campus, the Lake Forest College Student Health Services program is administered by Lake Forest Hospital. A Nurse Practitioner is available at the Health Center on South Campus by appointment and for emergencies, and provides a wide range of services. A Lake Forest Hospital Board Certified Emergency Physician is in the office 1/2 day a week for consultations.

Security and Public Safety
In accordance with the mission of the College, the Department of Security and Public Safety is committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment at Lake Forest College.

Interfaith Center
Since 1976 the Interfaith Center at Lake Forest College has been serving as the umbrella organization for all religious groups and activities on campus. We are a group dedicated to dialogue and communication between religious groups on campus, and offer assistance and support to all religious organizations. Students come to us when they want to start a new religious group on campus and we will help them get it started. In addition, the Interfaith Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year that promotes inter-religious understanding, such as our annual Inter-Collegiate Parliament of the World's Sacred Traditions in the fall and our annual Evening With ________ program in the spring.

Arab Student Association
ASA welcomes anyone as a member regardless of whether they identify as an Arab or not. ASA’s main goal is to raise awareness about Arab culture. This can be accomplished through activities such as:

Asian Interest Group (AIG)
The Asian Interest Group is a network of students devoted to encouraging awareness of the different cultures of Asia on campus. It is a group for learning and sharing, and is therefore very open to students of all ethnicities and cultures.

Baha'i Campus Association
The Bahá’í Campus Association at Lake Forest College aims at contributing to the enrichment of the cultural life of students on campus. The Association would strive to promote such principles of race and gender equality, the abandonment of all forms of prejudice, the recognition of the unity and relativity of religious truth, the recognition that true religion is in harmony with reason and the pursuit of scientific knowledge, and the responsibility of each person to independently search for truth.
The Bahá’í Campus Association endeavors to organize—formal and informal—interfaith discussions, lectures on various topics of interest for college youth, and visits to the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette.

Hillel
Hillel is a group for Jewish students on campus. A developing organization, Hillel welcomes all Jews - reform, conservative, orthodox, or cultural. Our focus is to create a Jewish life on campus, cultivating a relationship with our community. In addition to planning for major holidays, Hillel hopes to take part in awareness projects. We also take part in Chicago Hillel events with area universities.

International Student Organization (ISO)
The International Students Organization of Lake Forest College promotes worldwide integration and awareness of different cultures. We are dedicated to our goals of providing support to International Students, educating the community about foreign cultures and religions, celebrating diversity, and fostering a spirit of global society by organizing both entertaining and educational cultural events.

Latinos Unidos
Latinos Unidos is Lake Forest College's Hispanic Cultural Organization. Our organization is a niche for those who are both interested and take part in Latino culture. We are active in aspects like Latino awareness and issues, community service, and cultural events. Our ultimate goal is to advocate unity, respect and knowledge of Latino culture not only from campus but also from around the globe.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)
The Muslim Student Association aspires to bring about a better understanding of Islam as a religion. We strive to make Islamic information available to the public and to encourage participation of MSA members in such endeavors. We are also an organization that strives to strengthen the faith of each Muslim in God and the message He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). A key objective of MSA is to present and explain Islam to the followers of other faiths. This organization does not discriminate based on age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran's status, sexual orientation or political affiliation. One does NOT have to be Muslim to participate in this organization.

PRIDE
PRIDE’s mission is to provide support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer (GLBTQ) students, and to educate the Lake Forest College community at large concerning GLBTQ issues. By raising awareness and understanding, PRIDE organizes activities that educate and entertain the campus community. Our yearly activities build around Collegiate Fortnight of Pride (CFOP), which involves daily activities and culminates in the annual drag show.

Students for Women's Awareness Network (SWAN)
Students for Women’s Awareness Network (Swan) is Lake Forest College’s only student campus organization that focuses specifically on women’s issues. Swan’s mission is to engage the Lake Forest College Campus in women’s related issues through a variety of programs, presentations, social events, and conferences.

United Black Association (UBA)
United Black Association (UBA) is a student organization that focuses on African-American culture. The group feels that the support of black culture, and issues pertaining to the black community, are necessary to the emotional, intellectual, and cultural growth of all students, faculty, and staff. UBA is a resource for the entire Lake Forest College community. UBA embraces cultural diversity, thus our membership, discussions, and events are open to the entire College community, regardless of race.
