Mock Trial

Collegiate Mock Trial allows for students to read, take part in, and understand the procedures of an actual trial. Students receive a case at the beginning of the year and spend the following time preparing both plaintiff and defense cases including witnesses, direct and cross examinations, and opening and closing statements. The process fosters an interactive learning environment, with the side benefits of public speaking and team work, with an undergraduate competition the following February/ March against other colleges.
