The Film Society

The Film Society is in its 5th year as a student organization committed to introducing students to unique films, area filmmakers, and film production. The Lake Forest Film Festival is a way to bridge the independent filmmaking world to the Lake Forest community.

Film Festival (April 18-20) Ticketing:
Tickets are $5 for the community for one screening, and free for all students.  Admission fee for the entire weekend is $20. All screenings at The First Presbytarian Church are free for all. Please call Julie Harber at 314-550-3608 to reserve a seat for any venue.

Awards

A jury of filmmakers, professors, film critics, and festival directors will serve on the panel to award films. Awards for achievement in best feature and best short will be given in the categories of: documentary, animation, and live-action, with an Audience Award for Feature film.
