Forester Calling Foresters
A select group of students work on one of the most important College programs—the Lake Forest College Foresters Calling Foresters, promoting the Annual Fund and Parents Fund.
Every Forester benefited from helpful donors. Tuition does not cover it all. Donations improve programs, help cover general expenses, and increase available funds for academics, student services, and athletics. Donors also assist with financial aid that helped many students and families with a Lake Forest education.
What to do when you get The Call
Please don’t hang up!
The average call is only 3.4 minutes long. It is much more fun for students to speak with you than your answering machine. Callers look forward to hearing your stories, career choices, and college memories.
The Call is about more than money.
Share News with Your Classmates
The Caller can update you with alumni news and services such as the Career Advancement Center, or events in your area. You can also update classmates with Spectrum announcements about your work, wedding, baby, or other news. You may also click here to send an announcement right now!
Student Callers contact alumni, parents, and friends for the Annual and Parents Fund each semester.
Employer Information
Many companies match your donation to the College. The Caller can tell you if your employer will help pay for your gift! You can also share your working-world wisdom. Students really want to know about your classes and career choices as they struggle with the same decisions.
Provide an Email Address
Help the College use your donation wisely, reduce expenses, and support a ‘greener’ campus by providing your email address. The College sends a bi-weekly newsletter, your information is not given to others, and you can control the content you receive.
Parents Fund
The Parents Fund provides important annual resources to financial aid and scholarships, student research, student support services, faculty development, and others. The Parents Fund recognizes the special relationship of parents and families to the College. Making your Parents Fund donation is a truly special way to show you believe in your student’s choice of a Lake Forest education.
