When their son, Tommy, selected Lake Forest College and enrolled in the Class of 2012, Tom and Wendy White were confident he had arrived in the right place because of the College’s mission and the faculty and staff who make an exceptional liberal arts education possible.
During the year parents are asked to support the College through a gift to The Parents Fund, which provides resources to areas such as financial aid and scholarships, student research, student life, and faculty development. Please join your fellow parents in making a gift. Gifts of any amount will support your child’s educational experience at Lake Forest and will be greatly appreciated.
Part of The Fund for Lake Forest, The Parents Fund supports such essentials as:
- Scholarships for the many current students who have financial need;
- Faculty research and teaching innovations so our professors can remain leaders in their academic disciplines and their classrooms;
- Targeted support for individual academic departments or administrative programs;
- Computer equipment and software;
- Heat and electricity for campus buildings, and other infrastructural support; and
- Other operating areas.
If you have not yet given to The Parents Fund, please consider making a contribution. Your support will directly help the College weather these economically challenging times, and it has never been more vital.
