There is still room for more participation in the teaching shapes program. Please let Dawn Wiser know if you are interested in participating or if you have questions.

The Learning and Teaching Center invites you to participate in the teaching triangles (squares/circles/parallelograms) program.  This is a great opportunity for you to observe your colleagues and be observed by them, without supervisory evaluation.

This announcement is to  inform you that Assistant Director of Intercultural Relations Sharonda Pugh will be leaving the College on March 9th.  Sharonda has been with the College for nearly four years, and she’s been a wonderful asset to Intercultural Relations, Student Affairs, and to the College.  In addition to providing leadership for numerous programs, Sharonda has been an amazing support for culturally-focused student organizations, and countless individual students.

Campus-wide sessions will be held with faculty and staff to discuss our self-insured health care plan, best practices for containing costs and how rising health costs will impact the College’s budget.  The sessions will be held in McCormick Auditorium on Thursday, March 1st and Friday, March 2nd at 12:00 noon.  Please plan to attend one of these informative sessions.

Now students can access the schedules for both the Writing and Math Resource Centers from your course moodle pages.  Note the link in the upper left corner.  Also, students have easy access to the schedulers from their mylakeforest site. This should make it easier for you to recommend your students.
