Women's Tennis Falls to Beloit
Jackie Pieczkiewicz Picks Up Forester's Lone Victory 

LAKE FOREST, IL - In a rematch of the 1999 Midwest Conference women's tennis team championship match, visiting Beloit College turned the tables on Lake Forest College, 8-1, at Lake Forest, Illinois on Monday. The Foresters won last year's contest, 5-3, to claim the school's first-ever MWC championship.

Beloit swept all three doubles matches and won at No. 1-5 singles, all in straight sets, to claim the win.

Jackie Pieczkiewicz (Grayslake, IL/Grayslake Community) won, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 6 singles for Lake Forest's only point. Pieczkiewicz is now 4-1 on the season.

The Foresters, who fell to 4-2 on the season, will return to the courts tomorrow (September 26th) for their second consecutive inter-division MWC match-up. Lake Forest will travel to Waukesha, WI to face Carroll College at 3:00 on Tuesday.
