Lake Forest Falls to North Park in Home Opener
Vikings score only goal of the game at 59:01

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Forester women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 by North Park University on Sunday (September 6). It was Lake Forest's first home game of the season and evened the team's record at 1-1-0. The Vikings raised their mark to 3-0-0

The visitors scored the only goal of the contest at 59:01.

Most of the statistics were close to even. The Vikings out-shot the Foresters 10-9 and both teams' goalkeepers made four saves.

Lake Forest will host North Central College, another College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin team, Wednesday (September 9) at 5:00 p.m.
