Loss at M.S.O.E. is First of the Year for Lake Forest
Caty von Brecht scores the Foresters’ lone goal

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Forester women’s soccer team fell 3-1 at Milwaukee School of Engineering Thursday (September 6) night. Lake Forest is now 1-1-1 on the season while the Raiders raised their record to 2-1-0.

After a scoreless first half, the home team finally got on the scoreboard at 53:49 and added goals at 60:55 and 72:21.

The Foresters’ only goal of the game was scored in the 80th minute by junior Caty von Brecht (Cumberland, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy). Her first score of the season was assisted by sophomore Monica Thomas (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos).

Lake Forest will begin Midwest Conference play Saturday (September 8) afternoon at 1:00 at Ripon College.
