Becky Esrock Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman had three goals and an assist in collegiate debut

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Lake Forest College women’s soccer player Becky Esrock (St. Louis, Mo./Whitfield, School) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (September 3) for her performance in a 4-1 season-opening victory at Concordia University Chicago the previous Tuesday (September 1).

Esrock, a freshman forward, gave the Foresters a 1-0 lead on her first career goal less than 10 minutes into the contest. After assisting on the official game-winning goal at 17:58, she netted her second score of the game exactly two minutes later her third at 50:13.

Her seven points matched the program’s highest single-game total in nearly seven years.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
