Lake Forest defeated at Carroll University
Foresters fall back to .500

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Forester women's soccer team fell 4-0 at Carroll University Wednesday evening (September 30). Lake Forest's overall record dropped to 5-5-0 and the team fell to 2-2-0 in Midwest Conference play. The Lady Pioneers are now 6-1-1 overall and undefeated in two league games.

Carroll jumped out to an early lead with a goal less than three minutes into the contest. The home team added another score at 7:14 and led 2-1 at halftime.

The Lady Pioneers netted a pair of insurance goals within a four-minute span midway through the second period to put the game out of reach.

Carroll out-shot the Foresters 8-2 in the first half and both teams had five attempts in the second. Seven of the Lady Pioneers' shots were on goal, two more than Lake Forest.

The Foresters will host Knox College Saturday (October 3) at 1:00 p.m. A live video webast of the game will be available on the Penn Atlantic web site.
