Lake Forest Drops 2-0 Decision to Carthage College
Both goals were scored late in the game
Lake Forest, Ill. – The Forester women’s soccer team fell 2-0 at home to Carthage College Wednesday (September 27) evening. Lake Forest is now 4-3-0 on the season while the Lady Reds raised their mark to 6-3-0.

Neither team was able to score until the visitors’ first score at 74:10. Carthage added an insurance goal eight minutes later to put the game away.

Forester senior goalkeeper Kristyne Operzedek (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) recorded a season-high 10 saves in the contest.

Lake Forest will travel to Lawrence University on Saturday (September 30). The Midwest Conference match will begin at 1:00 p.m.
