Lake Forest Suffers First Midwest Conference Loss
Foresters fall at home to St. Norbert

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Forester women’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to visiting St. Norbert College on Sunday (September 23). Lake Forest fell to 4-3-1 overall and 2-1-0 in Midwest Conference games. The Green Knights raised their overall record to 5-3-0 and league mark to 1-1-0.

St. Norbert scored the game’s first goal just 1:51 into the contest and added a first half tally at 22:10. Neither team was able to score from that point on.

The Foresters held a 17-14 edge in shots for the game and both teams put seven shots on goal.

Lake Forest will travel to Carthage College on Wednesday (September 26) for a 6:00 p.m. non-conference game.
