Foresters Suffer First Loss of 2000 at St. Norbert, 3-1
Record falls to 3-1-0

DePERE, WI - After starting the season with three straight wins, two by a score of 3-1, the Lake Forest College Women's Soccer Team lost Saturday (September 16th) by that same score at St. Norbert College.

The Foresters' lone goal of the game came from the foot of junior Sandi Coutts (Round Lake, IL/College of Lake County) less than a minute after St. Norbert scored their 3rd and final goal midway through the second half. The red and black did have their chances, as they attempted 9 corner kicks and out-shot St. Norbert 11-10.

Lake Forest is now 3-1-0 overall on the season and 1-1-0 in the Midwest Conference.

The team must rebound quickly as they play again tomorrow (Sunday, September 17th) at Knox College in Galesburg, IL in another MWC game.
