MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Lake Forest College women's soccer team won 2-0 at Milwaukee School of Engineering Tuesday night (September 15). The Foresters are now 3-2-0 on the season while the Raiders fell to 3-2-1.

Neither team scored during the first 77 minutes of the contest.

Forester sophomore Erica May (Tulsa, Okla./Cascia Hall Prep) finally netted what turned out to be the game-winning goal at 77:06 with an assist credited to freshman Becky Esrock (St. Louis, Mo./Whitfield School). It was May's second score of 2009.

The visitors added an insurance goal, freshman Lisa Sorensen's (Muskegon, Mich./Western Michigan Christian) third score of the season, less than three minutes later.

It was the first career shutout for Lake Forest freshman goalkeeper Bri Schleibinger (Spring Grove, Ill./Richmond Burton). She recorded one save in each half and lowered her goals against average on the year to 1.23.

The Foresters will resume Midwest Conference play on Saturday (September 19) when they host St. Norbert College at 2:00 p.m.
