LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Lake Forest College women’s soccer players Becky Esrock (St. Louis, Mo./Whitfield School) and Emily Weber (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seven Hills Upper School) were named Midwest Conference Offensive and Defensive Performers of the Week, respectively, on Monday (September 14) for their performance in a 6-1 victory at Ripon College the previous Saturday. (September 12).

Esrock, a freshman forward, scored four of the teams goals in the contest for her second career hat trick. She put the Foresters on the scoreboard just 75 seconds into the game and made the score 2-0 at the 7:35 mark. She also scored twice early in the second half and now leads the team with 15 points on seven goals and an assist.

With Lake Forest’s starting sweeper out with an injury, Weber, a junior, filled in and helped the defense limit Ripon to 10 total shots and just three on goal in the game.
