Foresters Drop 1-0 Decision to the University of Chicago

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Lake Forest College women’s soccer team fell 1-0 to visiting University of Chicago Tuesday (October 2) afternoon on Farwell Field. The Foresters’ record on the year is now even at 5-5-1 while the Maroons raised their mark to 6-2-2.

Neither team was able to score in the opening period. Chicago finally broke through for the game’s only goal in the 55th minute.

Forester junior goalkeeper Alison Lynch (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Notre Dame) recorded a career-high 15 saves in the contest

Lake Forest will host North Park University Friday (October 5) afternoon at 4:00 before resuming Midwest Conference play the following Saturday (October 13) at home against Grinnell College.
