Stevenson Named to All-Midwest Conference First Team
Forward is the seventh Forester all-conference freshman since 1995
  

Melissa Stevenson was second on the team with nine goals.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Midwest Conference selected its All Conference athletes for women's soccer, and Lake Forest freshman Melissa Stevenson (Littleton, CO/ Dakota Ridge) was honored with a first team selection.
 
Stevenson finished the season with nine goals, three assists, and a total of 21 points. The freshman played in all 16 Forester contests and started half of them. Stevenson tallied a hat trick on October 13 against Beloit College. Her three goals boosted Lake Forest to a 6-1 conference win.

Her selection is the seventh earned by Forester freshmen in the last eight years. Lake Forest had one first-year student earn all-conference honors each year from 1995 through 2000.

Lake Forest completed the season with an overall mark of 7-9-0, while going 5-4-0 in league play.
