Four Foresters Named to NCHA All-Academic Team
McGrath sisters honored for the third time

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association released the 2005-06 NCHA All-Academic Team on Thursday (March 2) and four Lake Forest College players made the list. A player must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 and be recommended by her head coach to be eligible for the award.

Seniors Erin McGrath (Chippawa, ON/Niagara Rapids) and Darby McGrath (Chippawa, ON/Niagara Rapids) were two of just five players in the league to earn the award for the third time. Erin, a forward, is a history major and Darby, a defenseman, is majoring in both English and Politics.

A pair of Forester junior forwards appeared on the list for the first time. Michelle Ricketts (Rochester, MI/Honeybaked) is majoring in French and Communications and Katie Snowden (Toronto, ON/Willowdale Redwings) is a Psychology major.
