Foresters Fall Twice to #5 Team in the Nation
Taylor records 88 saves in two games
  

Theresa Taylor leads the NCHA with 328 saves.
STEVENS POINT, WI - The Forester women's hockey team traveled to UW-Stevens Point this weekend to take on the nation's fifth-ranked team (US College Hockey Online). The Pointers proved why their listed as one of the best by shutting out the Foresters 2-0 Friday (January 18th) night and 4-0 Saturday (January 19th) afternoon.

A bright spot for Lake Forest was the play of sophomore goaltender Theresa Taylor (Spartanburg, SC). Taylor recorded 42 saves on Friday and 46 more on Saturday. Overall, she stopped 93.6% of the shots Stevens Point put on goal. She continues to lead the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association with 328 saves in 10 league games.

Lake Forest (5-10-1, 1-9-0 NCHA) will host UW-Superior next weekend. Friday (January 25th) night's game will begin at 7:30 and the puck will drop at 2:00 Saturday (January 26th) afternoon. Superior is the sixth-ranked team in the nation, just below Stevens Point.
