UW-River Falls Takes a Pair of Games From Lake Forest
Theresa Taylor secures 77 saves during two games

LAKE FOREST, IL - UW-River Falls bested visiting Lake Forest College 4-2 on Friday (February 2nd) and 6-0 on Saturday (February 3rd) to complete a series sweep in North Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division play.

Lake Forest (6-9-1, 2-9-1 NCHA) had their two-game winning streak snapped, while UW-River Falls (13-7-1, 7-5-0 NCHA) won for the 13th time this season.

On Friday, Lake Forest jumped out to leads of 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Jill Fox (Buffalo, NY) and Robyn Slater (Granite City, IL), but River Falls scored the only three goals of the third period to pull away with a 4-2 win.

On Saturday, the Falcons again scored the only three goals in the third period and ran away with a 6-0 win. 

Lake Forest goaltender Theresa Taylor (Spartanburg, SC) had 33 saves on Friday and 44 saves on Saturday in a losing effort.

The Foresters will return home for their next series when they host UW-Superior this Friday (February 9th) and Saturday (February 10th).
