Foresters Split Regular Season Series Finale
LF to play in four-team NCHA Tournament next weekend

EAU CLAIRE, WI - UW-Eau Claire and visiting Lake Forest College split a two-game series over the weekend in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division action. Eau Claire won 5-4 on Friday (February 23rd) night, while Lake Forest bounced back for a 3-1 win the following day.

On Friday, Eau Claire jumped out to a 5-2 lead and held off a late Forester comeback attempt for the one-goal win. Lake Forest out-scored Eau Claire 2-0 in the final period.

On Saturday, Tory Solley (Washington, CT) scored two goals and Robyn Slater (Granite City, IL) tallied a goal and an assist as Lake Forest won, 3-1. Theresa Taylor (Spartanburg, SC) stopped 29 of 30 shots for the win.

Lake Forest, now 10-11-1 on the season, will compete in next weekend's NCHA Tournament as the fourth seed. Eau Claire's season ended with a 4-21-0 record.
