Foresters Fall at University of Chicago
Team will play twice on Saturday

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Lake Forest College volleyball team dropped a 25-17, 25-14, 25-20 decision at the University of Chicago on Wednesday (September 16) and fell to 1-10 on the season. The Maroons raised their record to 7-5.

Freshmen Megan Trubich (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) and Cori Cooper (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central) led the Foresters with seven kills apiece. Trubich also paced the squad with 10 digs, junior Deena Blanchard (Sparta, Mich./Sparta) had 15 assists and two aces, and senior Megan Fasules (Little Rock, Ark./Pulaski Academy) was a part of two blocks.

Lake Forest will take on Benedictine University at noon and host North Central College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday's (September 19).
