Miller Sets School Record in Loss at Dominican
Foresters fall in three games

Meghan Miller leads the team with 136 digs this season.
RIVER FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College volleyball team had its five-match winning streak come to an end Thursday (September 16) at Dominican University where the Foresters were defeated 30-19, 30-27, 30-26. Lake Forest is now 5-3 on the year and Dominican is 6-7.

Junior Meghan Miller (Williams Bay, WI/Williams Bay) set a school record with 24 digs in the three-game match. Freshman Nicole Baich (Westchester, IL/Nazareth Academy) led the team with 11 kills and both senior Amy Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) and sophomore Savanna Shumaker (Bristol, WI/ Westosha Central) added 10. Baich also had three blocks and Krueger chipped in 17 digs. Senior setter Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) tallied 29 assists.

The Foresters will compete in the Thunder Classic at Wheaton College on Saturday (September 18). Lake Forest will take on Hope College at 10:00 a.m., Aurora University at noon, and Benedictine University at 2:30 in the afternoon.
