Foresters Defeat Judson College in Four Games 
Four players reach double-figures in kills
  

Stephanie Metzger tallied a season-high 20 kills.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College volleyball team hosted and defeated Judson College Thursday (October 24) night in four games (30-27, 23-30, 30-26, 30-20). The victory raised the Foresters' record to 15-10 while the Eagles fell to 11-19.

Junior Stephanie Metzger's (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) 20 kills led four Foresters who reached double-figures in that category. The team co-captain also recorded team-highs with 16 digs and five aces.

Junior Jenna Harper (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) had 16 kills and two more blocks, raising her team-leading total to 91 on the season. Senior Kelly McNiff (Maryland Heights, MO/Pattonville) registered 11 kills and sophomore Amy Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew) chipped in 10 to go with 13 digs.

Setting duties were shared by freshman Jenny Lackey (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North) and sophomore Andrea Krueger (Tinley Park, IL/Andrew), who tallied 28 and 27, respectively. The Foresters' 66 assists were just four short of the team record for a four-game match.

Lake Forest will be back in action this weekend (October 25-26) at the UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular. On Friday, the Foresters will take on the University of Chicago at 7:00 p.m. Saturday's games will be against Augsburg College (10:30 a.m.) and host UW-Oshkosh (12:30 p.m.).
