Nicole Baich Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Sophomore posted a .400 hitting percentage on the week

Nicole Baich is close to her second 100-block season.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College volleyball player Nicole Baich (Westchester, IL/Nazareth Academy) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (October 18). She led the Foresters to a 1-1 record last week, including a victory in league play.

Baich, a sophomore middle blocker, led the Foresters with 20 kills and nine blocks, including four solos, in their five-game loss to the University of Chicago last Tuesday (October 11). She posted a .370 hitting percentage and added six digs in the match.

In Friday (October 14) night’s 3-0 MWC victory at Knox College, she tied for the team lead with nine kills, despite playing in just two of the games. She had a .500 hitting percentage and added three digs, an ace, and a solo block.

Baich had 29 kills and nine blocks on the week while posting a .400 hitting percentage. She leads the 2005 Foresters with 312 kills, a .264 hitting percentage, and 90 blocks, including 43 solos, on the year.
