Jenn Reifenberg Earns MWC Player of the Week Honors
Junior catcher hits over .500 with four home runs

LAKE FOREST, IL - Jenn Reifenberg (Skokie, IL/Niles West), a junior catcher for the Lake Forest College softball team, was named the Midwest Conference South Division Player of the Week for the week of April 23rd-29th. 

She excelled at the plate and in the field for the Foresters. Reifenberg, who played in four games on the week, batted .533 (8-for-15) with four home runs and nine runs batted in. She also had six runs scored and two doubles. All of that added up to a 1.467 slugging percentage for the week. 

She was also perfect in the field, recording a 1.000 fielding percentage. 

Her biggest hit was a three-run home run to tie the first Monmouth game at 5-5. Lake Forest went on to win, 8-5, and Reifenberg added a solo shot in the seventh inning. 

Reifenberg led the Foresters to a 3-1 record for the week, as the team clinched the MWC South Division title.
