Alissa Mildebrath Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Sophomore batted .583 and belted two homeruns 
  

 Alissa Mildebrath reached base 10 times in 15 at-bats.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College softball player Alissa Mildebrath (Carol Stream, IL/West Chicago) was named Forester Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance at the plate over a five-game stretch. 

The sophomore second baseman and designated player keyed a 9-1, 6-0 doubleheader sweep of Midwest Conference foe Monmouth College Thursday (April 17) by going 4-for-7 and blasting a homer in each game. She also walked once and knocked in five of the Foresters' fifteen runs. 

Mildebrath singled in her only at-bat in a 7-3 loss to Aurora University Friday (April 18) and was 2-for-4 as Lake Forest fell twice to the University of Chicago on Tuesday (April 22). 

For the week, the team's leading hitter posted a batting average of .583 and slugging and on-base percentages of 1.167 and .667, respectively. 

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
