Rocky Tektumanidze Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman recorded two straight-set wins

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College tennis player Rocky Tektumanidze (Riverwoods, IL / Deerfield ) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (March 9) after he posted two victories in non-conference matches Saturday (March 4).

In the team's first competition in two weeks, Tektumanidze showed no signs of rust as he defeated Dale Wroblewski of the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse 6-4, 6-3.

The Foresters' number one player then disposed of Concordia University's Ira Meiling by a score of 6-4, 6-0.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
