Lake Forest Falls to La Crosse and Concordia
Rocky Tektumanidze wins twice at #1 singles

  

Rocky Tektumanidze won both of his #1 singles matches.
JACKSON, WI - The Forester men’s tennis team fell 6-1 to UW-La Crosse and 5-2 to host Concordia University on Saturday (March 4). The losses drop Lake Forest’s record on the year to 0-3. La Crosse raised its record to 7-4 and Concordia is now 1-7.

Freshman Rocky Tektumanidze (Riverwoods, IL/Deerfield) earned the Foresters’ lone team points against La Crosse with his 6-4, 6-3 victory at number one singles.

Tektumanidze was victorious again against Concordia, defeating the Falcons’ top singles player 6-4, 6-0. Senior Nick Sandner (Lake Bluff, IL/Lake Forest) registered the visitors’ other victory, a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at number three singles.

Lake Forest’s next four matches will be played in Orlando during Spring Break (March 12-16). The team will take on Millsaps College, Ursinus College, Springfield College, and Albion College while in Florida.
