March 15th, 2001 Contact: Scott Rucker, SID Lake Forest Plays Three Matches in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL - The Lake Forest College men's tennis team fell to three opponents during their Spring Break trip to Orlando, Florida. On Monday (March 12th) the Foresters were blanked, 7-0, by Vassar College. The following day, New York University defeated Lake Forest by the same score. Lake Forest dropped a 5-2 decision to Wesleyan College (CT) on Thursday (March 15th) to drop the team's overall record to 0-5. Evan Hall (Novich, VT/Loomis Chaffee School) at No. 3 and Luke Figora (Yorkville, IL/Yorkville) at No. 4 won singles matches for LF. The Foresters will return to action on Saturday, March 31st when they host St. Norbert College at noon. LF-Vassar
