Lake Forest Opens Spring Break Trip with Victory over Tiffin
Three Foresters prevail in both singles and doubles

The Foresters claimed two of the three doubles matches. Sophomore Andrew Fretter (Bloomfield, Mich./Cranbrook Kingswood) and freshman Joel Hainsfurther (Highland Park, Ill./Highland Park) edged out their opponents at number two 9-8 (7-5) and sophomore Will Hiemenz (St. Louis, Mo./Chaminade) partnered with freshman Joe Campagna (Elmwood Park, Ill./Fenwick) on an 8-3 triumph at number three.

Hainsfurther, Fretter, and Campagna also came out on top in singles play, as did freshman Alex Presmann (Deerfield, Ill/Deerfield), who recorded a 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 triumph at number two. Hainsfurther prevailed 6-4, 6-1 at number four, Fretter 6-3, 6-1 at five, and Campagna 8-4 at six.

The team will take on Defiance College Tuesday (March 13) at noon, Hood College at 8:00 Wednesday (March 14) morning, and Manhattanville College at 6:00 that evening.
