Foresters Fall to Montana State University - Billings 
Division II school sweeps Lake Forest

PHOENIX, AZ - The Lake Forest College men's tennis team played the first official match of its Spring Break trip Tuesday (March 11) against Montana State University - Billings. MSU-Billings, an NCAA Division II school, swept the Foresters to record the 9-0 victory. Lake Forest's record on the season is now 1-3.

Freshman Nick Sandner (Lake Bluff, IL/Lake Forest) was involved in the two closest matches of the day. He fell 7-5 (7-3), 6-0 at number three singles and, along with fellow freshman Rob Burda (Meridian, ID/Meridian), 8-3 at number two doubles.

The Foresters will play at Gateway Community College on Wednesday (March 12) at 1:30 p.m. On Thursday (March 13) afternoon, they will take on Fairfield College. That match will also begin at 1:30.
