Lake Forest Falls at the University of Chicago
Bienia wins team-high 10th singles match
  

Sebastian Bienia leads the team with 10 singles wins.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at the University of Chicago Tuesday (April 22). The Foresters' record in 2003 fell to 8-9 with one dual match remaining on the schedule.

Freshman Nick Sandner (Lake Bluff, IL/Lake Forest) won his third straight match at number three singles. After winning the first set 6-1, he dropped the second 6-4. He and Chicago's George Anesi played a tiebreaker to ten in place of a third set and Sandner came out on top, 10-8.

Lake Forest's other point came at number six singles where freshman Sebastian Bienia (Lemont, IL/Lemont) defeated Derrick Almassy 4-6, 6-0, (10-5). Bienia's record on the year improved to a team-best 10-7.

The Foresters will host Aurora University at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 23) to close out their regular season schedule. The team will travel to Madison, Wisconsin this weekend (April 26-27) for the Midwest Conference Championship Tournaments. The doubles tourney is on Saturday and the singles competition will be played on Sunday.
