Lake Forest Defeated 2-0 at Carthage College
Forester goalkeepers combine for nine saves

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Forester men’s soccer team was blanked 2-0 at Carthage College Wednesday (September 26) night. Lake Forest fell to 3-5-0 this year while the Red Men raised their record to 6-3-1.

The home team scored the first goal of the game just 6:16 into the contest and added a second-half score at 63:14.

Forester junior goalkeeper Sam Malmberg (Concord, N.H./St. Paul's School) recorded seven saves in the first 45 minutes of the game and freshman Tom Biesiada (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake Central) stopped a pair of shots on goal in the second period. They surrendered one goal apiece.

Lake Forest will resume Midwest Conference play on Saturday (September 29) at home against Lawrence University. The game will begin at 3:30 p.m.
