Lake Forest Falls 1-0 to Defending League Champs
Foresters out-shoot St. Norbert but are unable to score

De Pere, Wis. – The Forester men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at St. Norbert College on Saturday (September 23). Lake Forest is now 5-1-0 overall this season and 2-1-0 in Midwest Conference play. The Green Knights, the four-time defending league champions, won their league opener to raise their overall record on the year to 5-0-1.

The home team scored the only goal of the contest at the 15:30 mark.

Lake Forest out-shot the Knights 9-7 in the game and both team’s goalkeepers were credited with one save.

The Foresters will host Carthage College Wednesday (September 27) afternoon. The non-conference match will begin at 3:00 p.m. Lake Forest’s next league game will be Saturday (September 30) at Lawrence University at 3:30 p.m.
