John Fagan Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman scored both goals in 2-0 win over Ripon

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Lake Forest College men’s soccer player John Fagan (Okemos, Mich./Trinity Pawling School) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (September 18) for his performance in the team’s victory the previous Saturday (September 13).

Fagan, a freshman forward, netted his first career goal in the game’s 11th minute to give Lake Forest the early lead over visiting Ripon College. The score remained 1-0 until, with 7:50
remaining in the contest, Fagan struck again to all but clinch the 2-0 triumph.

The Foresters are now 3-3-0 overall with two victories in as many Midwest Conference games.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
