Carroll Snaps Foresters’ Nine-Game Unbeaten Streak
2-0 loss drops Lake Forest’s record to 7-2-2

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Forester men’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Carroll College at home on Saturday (October 9). Lake Forest’s overall record fell to 7-2-2 with the loss while its Midwest Conference mark slipped to 3-2-2. The Pioneers remained perfect (5-0-0) in the MWC and are now 6-3-2 overall and in first place.

Carroll scored its first goal at 13:01 and the second at the 20:18 mark. Both teams were held scoreless the rest of the game.

The visitors out-shot the Foresters 11-9.

Lake Forest will play three more home games next week. The team will host Concordia University (IL) on Wednesday (October 15) at 4:00 p.m. Next weekend (October 16-17), the Foresters will resume league play with match-ups against Monmouth College on Saturday and Illinois College on Sunday.
