Lake Forest Downed by Dominican, Nation’s #19 Team
Foresters will resume league play next weekend

River Forest, Ill. – The Forester men’s soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Dominican University Saturday (October 7) afternoon. Lake Forest is now 5-5-0 on the season while the Stars, who are ranked 19th in the nation, raised their record to 12-1-0.

The home team took the lead just 9:40 into the contest and scored on a penalty kick less than three minutes later. Dominican took a 3-0 lead into halftime after adding a goal at 33:03.

The Stars tacked on the final goal of the game with 24:35 remaining in the contest.

Lake Forest will resume Midwest Conference play next weekend (October 14-15) with a pair of league games. The Foresters will travel to Grinnell College on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. contest and will host Beloit College at 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
