Whitewater Shuts-Out Lake Forest in Regular Season Finale
Foresters await MWC Championship Tournament play

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College was blanked, 3-0, at UW-Whitewater on Saturday (October 28th) in their final regular season game of the season.

The Foresters (11-5-0) will bring a two-match losing streak into next weekend's Midwest Conference Championship Tournament in Ripon, WI. Lake Forest will play from the two seed position at the tournament, with the host school, Ripon College, the top seed. The Foresters will face third-seeded Grinnell College in the semifinals on Saturday (November 3rd).

Versus UW-Whitewater (9-7-0) on Saturday, Lake Forest got out-shot 22-7 and fell behind 2-0 at the halftime break. 

Ed Elliott (Decatur, IL/Culver Military Academy (IN)) played all 90 minutes in goal and stopped eight shots on goal.
