Josh Enck Named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week
Junior scored a goal and helped limit opponents to one score in two games

Lake Forest, Ill. – Lake Forest College men’s soccer player Josh Enck (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week on Monday (October 23) for his performance in a pair of league games the previous weekend (October 21-22).

Enck, a junior sweeper, anchored a defense that allowed Monmouth College to attempt just seven shots in a 1-1 tie on Saturday. Both goals in the game were scored on penalty kicks, including Enck’s second score of the season.

The Foresters blanked Illinois College 3-0 on Sunday and Enck helped limit the Blueboys to just seven shots in the game.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director.
