WHITEWATER, WI - The Forester men’s soccer team earned its fourth straight victory on Saturday (October 23), a 2-0 decision at UW-Whitewater. Lake Forest raised its record on the year to 11-2-2 while dropping the Warhawks’ mark to 8-6-0.

After a scoreless opening period, the first goal of the game was scored at 50:39 off the foot of freshman Jake Elperine (Highland Park, IL/Lake Forest Academy), who was assisted by junior Sam Figueroa (Bartlett, IL/Bartlett). It was the first career goal for Elperine, whose first 10 appearances for Lake Forest came at goalkeeper.

Lake Forest will play its final regular season game next Sunday (October 31) at 1:00 p.m. at Aurora University. The Foresters have not clinched a spot in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament on November 5-6 but could based on what other league teams do in the next week.
