Aurora Snaps Lake Forest's Win Streak at Seven
Spartans best Foresters 1-0 with short-handed goal 

LAKE FOREST, IL - Visiting Aurora University broke Lake Forest College's seven-game winning streak with a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday (October 11th). 

After a scoreless first half, Aurora (8-6-0) scored in the 57th minute, less than three minutes after Aurora went a man-down due to a red card. 

Lake Forest (7-3-0) out-shot the Spartans 11-2 in the second half, but could not muster a goal. 

Aurora out-shot the Foresters, 10-2, in the first half.

Lake Forest will host Monmouth College (IL) on Saturday in Midwest Conference match-up.
