Coaching Staff
Alex Stavropoulos is in his third season (2006-present) on the Forester coaching staff following a four-year career as a midfielder on the team. He is involved with the program's evaluation of high school players, advance scouting of opponents, on-the-field training, and game day decisions. Stavropoulos was a freshman in 2001 on the last Lake Forest team to capture the Midwest Conference championship. The Foresters posted a 42-22-4 overall record and 22-10-4 mark in league play during his collegiate career and he started at least one game each year. Stavropoulos is also a teacher at Vernon Hills High School and is pursuing a Master's degree in education from Trinity International University.
