Greg Klos Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Junior scored in double figures in both victories in Las Vegas

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men’s basketball player Greg Klos (Carol Stream, IL/Glenbard North) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (January 6) for his contributions to a pair of Lake Forest victories in Las Vegas during the holiday break.

Klos scored a team-high 16 points in the Foresters’ 68-63 win over St. Mary’s College of Maryland on Tuesday, December 21. He shot 6-for-12 from the field and 4-for-8 from three-point range in the contest.

The following day, Klos scored 13 points and dished out a career-high eight assists in the team’s 78-69 triumph over Adrian College. The victories raised Lake Forest’s record on the year to 6-3.

Klos ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game. He leads the squad with 29 three-point field goals and is shooting 44.6% from beyond the arc. He is also the team’s top free throw shooter at 90.5% (19-of-21).

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
