Tyler Tofson Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior was 7 of 11 from 3-point range in two games
  

Tyler Tofson scored a career-high 19 points in a win over Knox College.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's basketball player Tyler Tofson (Wisconsin Dells, WI/Wisconsin Dells) was named the Forester Athlete of the Week for his performance in his team's two Midwest Conference wins in the last week.

In Saturday's 96-80 victory at Knox College, Tofson more than doubled his previous career high (9) by scoring 19 points on 7-for-8 shooting from the floor, including 4-for-5 from beyond the three-point arc. He then contributed 11 points and a career-high 8 rebounds in Tuesday's home win over Illinois College.

For the two games Tofson shot 64.7% from the floor (11 for 17) and 63.6% from three-point range. He is currently averaging 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while leading the team in free throw shooting percentage (82.4%).

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
