Victor Campbell Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Sophomore averaged 13.3 points during three-game span

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College men’s basketball player Victor Campbell (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (December 6) for his performance in three home games, including a pair of victories, in a six-day span.

Campbell, a sophomore guard, was third on the team with eight points and added six rebounds in the team’s loss to Lawrence University Friday night.

On Saturday Campbell scored 11 points and chipped in with four rebounds and a pair of assists in a 66-50 triumph over Beloit College.

The Foresters handed North Central College its first loss of the season Wednesday night. Campbell led Lake Forest with 21 points in the 67-58 victory. He shot 6-for-11 from the field, 2-for-4 from three-point range, and 7-for-10 from the foul line while pulling down five rebounds and dishing out two assists.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
