Assistant Coach Brent Mork
Coach Mork begins his first season as an assistant basketball coach at Lake Forest. He spent the two previous years as the graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. During his two years at La Crosse, the program recorded its highest number of overall (2005-06) and conference (2006-07) wins since 1982-83. The team also reached its first conference title game and made its first NCAA Tournament appearance.
Prior to coaching at La Crosse, Mork served as the varsity assistant and head freshman coach at Verona Area High School in Verona, Wisconsin, from 2003-05. He also served as the program's summer coach. Mork's freshmen and summer teams have earned the first two state tournament appearances in school history.
Originally from Menomonie, Wisconsin, Mork graduated from Menomonie High School in 2000. He earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin in 2005 and a master's degree in Sports Administration from La Crosse in 2007. He lives in Arlington Heights.
Mork is directly involved with recruiting, on-the-floor coaching of wing players, the scouting of opponents, individual improvement, and the summer basketball camp.
